Trail Design
Trail design is the implementation of the trail master plan vision. There are numerous types of trails used for a variety of purposes or to facilitate specific site conditions. The designers at Intuition & Logic have experience in all of them, including gravel, mulch, asphalt, concrete, permeable pavement and boardwalks. We have designed trails for pedestrians, multi-use and trails that can support emergency vehicle access. In addition, we have incorporated trail infrastructure and enhancements in a number of our designs, such as pervious paver block parking for trailheads; stormwater bioretention basins and swales to address water quality and quantity impacts; and custom greenway plantings with indigenous vegetation.
